I expect apocalyptic talk from right-wing whackos.  But when I hear this sort of thing from from leftists, I start to wonder if they've learned nothing since the end of World War II about how to resist tyranny in this modern age.  From Indonesia, the Philippines, and Burma, to Germany and Poland, and including India, South Africa, and many others, the path to peace and freedom is not more war, it is peaceful, non-violent resistance.
