One of the more revealing events of the past week was the sudden terror alert issued by the Obama administration that shut down more than 20 American embassies throughout the Middle East, and the simultaneous launching of an intense flurry of drone strikes in Yemen. Of course, this orchestrated hysteria was staged, all in the service of "proving" that the NSA's illegal surveillance programs are needed to keep Americans safe. But nothing happened, nothing at all. The timing of this charade was critical, not because Al Qaeda was on the verge of launching one or more attacks against American interests, but because the interests of the Administration and the NSA were, and are, threatened by something far more dangerous -- a groundswell of opinion among the public at large and worse for them, in Congress, that these unconstitutional surveillance programs must be defanged and dismantled.
The words quoted in this poaster are those of High Chancellor Adam Sutler, from the movie, "V for Vendetta," shouted at his internal security minions following V's takeover of the emergency communications system, delivering V's message of truth and his call for resistance to the populace.
Edward Snowden is V.
Barack Obama and the gutless leaderships of both the Democratic and Republican parties in Congress ARE Sutler. What's next? Our own version of the Reichstag Fire? See: www.ushmm.org/wlc/en/article.p…
