See: [link]. I'm not a libertarian, but I am a civil libertarian, and Rand Paul is spot on.

It truly is amazing, isn't it? But, they are not so stupid. I think the point is not the specific behaviors they choose to include as "possibly indicating potential terrorist activity," but rather, the informer mentality wherein everyone is encouraged to keep an eye on everyone else.

The essential feature of American democracy is the right to be left alone. Where I live (rural Virginia) this is still honored. Cops here have been known to apologize when serving search warrants. That's the truth! But in the big cities, people are being taught to be vigilant especially of people they don't know. Hence, suspicion is introduced into the culture, and reinforced, and the expectation of privacy eroded.

See this: [link]. As I say time and again, "war abroad breeds repression at home."

All that jelly and jam my grandma used to make, how foolish I've been. I just thought she was being nice and resourceful, when in reality she was a terrorist.

As a widower I don't have lots of food in the house, except for pasta and dried cereal and some stuff in the freezer that's been there for ages. But hey, it's about people thinking whatever they want to think. And I've never let that get to me.

They're also listing people missing fingers or limbs or who have firearms as suspected terrorists. Guess thats a huge chunk of all military vets right there as well a large portion of people in manual labor that the government wants to classify as suspected terrorists and hold without trial or charges indefinitely. I guess I'm screw too on the food thing since I like to hunt and grow a garden so I store up my food over the year by canning and freezing it.

But...but... what am I supposed to do if FEMA hasn't gotten me to the camp on day 8?

Get killed off by the friendly fire teams that they send door to door to check for "terrorists" who have yet to check into their assigned camp-site.
