I agree that this whole case with Pussy Riot only proves, that Putin abuses his power in Kremlin and Russians need to separate their law from executive, still, I cannot understand one thing:

What has to do in a case of Russian musicians American citizen Dorothy Malone as Bonnie Parker, armed with firearm that was never used in significant qualities in Russia ? Thompson M1928 was common in Western Front and Pacific campaign, not in the Eastern Front of WW2.

I think you would have achieved better effect, if you altered Soviet WW2 propaganda poster, for example this [link] ; least such would look more convincing.

You are being too concrete in your critique. The whole thing with the Thompson, the cigar, the Bonnie Parker motif, etc., is to depict a cultural iconoclast, someone "over the top," someone like Pussy Riot. Anyway, I already did what you suggested. See: [link]. They are just two different visual styles.
