A lot of the fighter pilots in the Navy are really miffed about Drone Pilots and how they're taking their place and hogging all the glory. They do admit that ego is a huge part of it, though. I can already see an age where the then-rare fighter pilots stand out as the knights in shining armor to the simple peasant soldiers of the Drones - a new symbol of chivalry and military tradition.
