We can't stop it unless we have a way of pulling the carbon-dioxide out of the air at a rate equal to or faster then what we produce.

It's not a matter of stopping or slowing it but adapting to what's coming.

Wrong-o, batchild. The first step to getting out of a hole is to stop digging. Pretty hard to adapt to a 2℃ + average increase in global temperatures. Read the summary report of the IGPCC and you'll understand what that means, hopefully.

I know you will ban me for saying this but whatever.

If it was an average increase of +2C a year then I'm pretty sure it was either an Ice age when studies were started back in the 1970's or we are evolving at a faster rate for the heat then expected.

Wrong again. It's not 2℃ per year, it's 2℃ total from baseline. You really need to get educated about the issue before you make an ass of yourself in my gallery. See, for example: [link]
