No American President should have the self-arrogated power to order the killing of American citizens far away from any battlefield, and who have not been charged with any crime, merely on his suspicion that they may be involved in "terrorism," however he chooses to define it, and without authorization by Congress or permission from any court.

No President should be able to order the killing of anybody just out of suspicion. American or not.

Agreed. I wish he'd extend the 'not killing people without charge or on a battlefield' to non-americans, too.

Very True!! Got a book last week by William Blum: "America's Deadliest Export-Democracy". 'The truth about US Foreign Policy and Everything Else'. Have you read it or seen anything about it? "Writes like an angry man...." as one of my tutors would say...!
keep up the good work!

It's a very valid point well made, but if anything it makes me wonder why that line of thinking should only be applied to Americans. There is no difference between an American and any other person save the place they were born, all should surely be free from being killed on suspicion of terrorism without being charged or proven of any crime.

Because I'm concerned about the rights of Americans, which under our Constitution are different than those afforded to people who are not citizens.

An excellent point. Where do you get your originals to modify, if I may ask?
