Excuse me but does this "study" take into consideration the majors selected, jobs chosen, and hours worked? Maybe this "wage gap" is happening dot to discrimination but because of personal choice. It is ALREADY illegal to pay someone less for the same work due to gender. Besides, if women get paid less, why even bother to hire men? Wouldn't that be a way to save money for companies?
Or put it this way, more men DIE on the job than women, but do you hear men complain about it on a gender basis? Do you hear them claim that there is a male genocide going on? No, because this is not a gender issue but a workplace safety issue.
THIS "wage gap" is a distraction from the REAL wage gap. You know, the one between the wealthiest 1% and the other 99% of Americans? Can we get back to that?
